It is our proud previlege that the computer science department is started in 1984 was the first of its kind, in whole of india and as well as karnataka state.   The department is headed by Smt. S S chikkannavar with three lecturers to manage the department.   Three times our students have bagged first rank to the state.  Many students have procured jobs through campus interview have joined engineering degree courses.  Under the continuing education cell the department has generated an internal revenue of about 15 lakhs.  Many students are working throughout the couniry and outside in mulinational companies.  The department got accreditation from department of electronics, Government of India in 1991.
